Does anyone out there have Meniere’s and what have you been doing to get help? Have you tried the Miniette or Brainport devices. What medicines or natural remedies have you tried and did you get any positive results?
Are you surfing the net to find other medicines around the world like I do?
I’ve pretty much exhausted options with with my specialist, who happens to be one of the top ENTs in the country so that leaves me pretty much on my own.

I have had Meniere’s disease for many years now. I take a prescription medication called Serc. I do not know if it available in the US. I am a Canadian. It helps by quieting down the inner ear. I have other issues as well which interfere with my balance. I have heard of the other treatments but I get the feeling that they are not that useful in all cases. Surgery is in my opinion a last resort. I had a tumor removed from my left inner ear which seemed the only option available. I was not informed of the impact on my balance. I have Meniere’s in the other ear. I use a cane and have adapted. I see a physiotheraptist who specializes in balance problems. It all helps and I have jumped through the hoops. Now I live with what I have and make the best of it. How about you?
